God is waiting to welcome you!

Like water spilled on the ground, which cannot be recovered, so we must die. But that is not what God desires; rather, he devises ways so that a banished person does not remain banished from him.  2 Samuel‬ ‭14‬:‭14‬ (NIV)

The image in the verse above from 2 Samuel is of water being spilled on the ground and seeping into the soil, making it impossible for it to be recovered.  This is a very graphic representation of death and its finality.  Yet the verse goes on to say ‘… that is not what God desires …’

The next image used in the verse is of a banished person, isolated and alone.  Yet the person from whom they are banished (God) makes every attempt to win them over.  Perhaps you feel that God has been calling you time and again and that you have consistently ignored that call.  Rest assured, God will keep on trying to win your heart and to welcome you back.

Every blessing
